Photos: Anvils (eventually) fired to mark Victoria Day in Queen's park

Changes this year included six new members – including its first three women.

The loudest tradition in the Lower Mainland returned, after a bit of a delay, for its 153rd edition on Monday, May 20th at Queen’s park.

The Ancient and Honourable Hyack Anvil Battery fired 21 anvils during its annual salute to Queen Victoria on her birthday, May 20th, despite some difficulties with maintaining the fire throughout the event.
