Thousands of people gathered in downtown New Westminster for the annual Recovery Day Festival on Saturday, Sept. 9.
The free gathering on 6th Street is said to be North America's largest addiction and mental health recovery event with a goal to "get to know the people" in the community's health care.
Stations included axe-throwing, a memorial tree, health and wellness booths, a kids zone as well as dozens of food trucks.
Performers also included The Hip Show, Pop Junkies and Kyle Young Pine Drum and Dance. Canadian rock legends Glass Tiger headlined as the final live musical act on the main stage.
