Live poetry continues to be a staple of the New Westminster cultural scene.

The Poetic Justice series at the Heritage Grill backroom resumes this Sunday, Jan. 20, with host Fran Bourassa and featured poets, Amy Girard, Gail Norcross and Enrico Renz, who will share their latest wordsmith creations.

Anyone from the community is welcome to drop in to hear some poetry and even share his or her own during the open mike section of the event, which runs from 3 to 5 p.m. The Heritage Grill is located at 447 Columbia St. For more information, visit www.poeticjustice.ca.
