Easter weekend may look a little less spring-like than usual this year, what with later-than-standard cherry blossoms. But some New West homeowners are making sure the city feels festive regardless.
Anyone looking for a little Easter cheer should take a swing by these New Westminster homes.
Churchill and Massey (Massey-Victory Heights)
The home at the corner of Churchill Avenue and Massey Street is among the New West homes that drew admirers in October for its Halloween display. Now, as it turns out, it's doing the same for Easter.
The current yard decor includes large Easter inflatables and "Happy Easter" signage that's sure to brighten even the greyest April afternoon.
(Thanks to reader Diane for alerting us to this one, once again.)
Cumberland Street
The "Easter tree" house on Cumberland Street (near the corner of Harvey Street) has become a neighbourhood institution, and folks passing by frequently stop for their photo ops with the ever-growing tree.
Though it's not blooming in time for Easter this year, it's sporting its traditional array of coloured eggs and sending its Easter cheer into the neighbourhood.
Do you know any other homes in New West that decorate for Easter? Let us know, so we can add them to our collection.
