Krista Woodward won two separate javelin competitions at the Tucson Elite Classic last week.
On May 16, Woodward won the women's javelin with a throw of 56.78 metres. Two days later, the New Westminster Secondary grad went two metres better, taking top spot again with a 58.51m toss.
She now has recorded the top three throws by a Canadian thrower this season and is currently ranked 11th in the world.
