We're continuing with our popular feature - our staff's Top 5 (Or More) Things To Do This Weekend. We've moved publication to our Friday editions. This week, we have:

Get toasting on Saturday, Nov. 26, at the St. Mary's Empty Glass Wine Tasting Event. Learn about various wines from an expert. The event starts at 7: 30 p.m. at St. Mary's Church Hall, 121 E. Columbia St. For $15 tickets, call Judy: 604-522-8006. There are no tickets at the door.

Get mourning and reflecting on Sunday, Nov. 27 at an event for anyone who has suffered the loss of a loved one and who wants to pay tribute during the holiday season. Honour a Life starts at 6: 30 p.m. in Centennial Lodge, Queen's Park. There will be a brief service, followed by Christmas songs and symbolic decorating of the Tree of Remembrance. RSVP by calling 604-521-4881.

Get singing along with Bobs and LoLo on Saturday, Nov. 26 at 11 a.m. These popular children's entertainers from Treehouse TV will be on hand at the Royal City Centre to welcome Santa Claus. Admission is free, and there will be family fun throughout the day, from noon to 4 p.m. For more information, check out the mall's website at www.royalcity centre.ca.

Get cheering for the New Westminster players as the St. Thomas More Knights face Vancouver Island's Mt. Douglas Rams in the semifinals of the B.C. high school AAA football championships at UBC's Thunderbird Stadium Saturday, beginning at 5 p.m.

Get shopping for Christmas while supporting students in your community. Herbert Spencer Elementary is hosting its larger fundraiser of the year, with a baked goods and craft sale this Saturday, Nov. 26. The sale runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the school, 605 Second St. The vendors come from all over the Lower Mainland to sell jewelry, pottery, woodwork, and sewn items. Money goes to the school's parent advisory council.
