I just read about our most recent violent crime statistics here in New Westminster, and I must say I found it extremely disturbing, to say the least.
Crime rates of all kinds seem to be going up steadily year after year all over the country, and I blame the bleeding heart liberals and socialists, along with the Supreme Court of Canada, who have for decades played down our crime problem and mollycoddled those who commit the same crimes over and over through our revolving door, so-called justice system.
I sincerely hope our local politicians are monitoring these crime statistics and are ensuring that the New Westminster police force is getting everything they need to help battle this epidemic of serious criminal activity.
