Editor: Thank you, Karen Haley, for your excellent letter in regard to the addicts who openly abuse street drugs in front of children at the New Westminster Library site.
No young child should be subjected to witnessing this disgusting practice at any time, but unfortunately for us, we live in a time and place in which the rights of criminals and drug addicts often take precedence over the rights of decent, ordinary folks.
