Long before his career in dentistry, Hajee had first-hand experience with the transformative power that comes from receiving the best in his oral healthcare. He was fitted with braces from a young age in a move that unlocked not only his smile but also his joie de vivre.
“My teeth weren’t the best and having that opportunity to get braces when I was younger had a significant impact on my confidence overall,” he says. “Being comfortable with my smile made a big difference to me.”
Fast-forward a few decades and Hajee’s life has now come full circle, as he and his team now do the same for patients across any number of services: extractions; Invisalign treatments; implants; emergency care; root canals, teeth cleaning, whitening and so much more.

“The biggest challenge is you can't do everything for a person in a wheelchair without the lift because of the inability to move around a patient and maneuver around the wheelchair, but we’ve got that covered,” Hajee says. “We have patients coming in from Vancouver, Chilliwack and Abbotsford and they’re very happy with it.”
Speaking of happiness, Hajee acknowledges that a dentist visit may not invoke the most pleasant feelings for some. To that end, the Diamond Dental team puts a premium on having a relaxed, fun atmosphere both in terms of the physical setting and how the staff interacts with patients.
As with most things in life, Hajee stresses the need to start early – which is to say introducing children as young as one into the dental care routine.
“We want children to get comfortable with the chair, what the clinic looks and sounds like and what we look like with our gloves and masks on,” Hajee says. “We find that if you had a good experience when you're younger, you’ll often maintain that good experience as you get older.”
