New West resident Donna Maclean had a bird’s eye view when a log boom broke on the Fraser River on Dec. 20.
“Tough go with the dredgers working in the river. Very little room for them to go around,” she said in an email to the Record. “You can see the pipes from the dredger in the background – they have to separate them for tugs pulling barges and booms so they can get through. Interesting days.”
